The last bullfight in Barcelona took place in September 2011 and it would seem that it will not be too long before there is a total ban. The Spanish Theme Artwork Blogs are a celebration of Spanish art, past and present and though it will "come to pass" bullfighting will forever be a part of Spanish history. Documented by Goya, depicted by Picasso, for over 600 hundred years it has been a part of Spanish culture to such an extent that it cannot be ignored by anyone interested in Spanish art.
